Suchil <br />Council Members Absent <br />None. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />• Recognition -Donation by IBEW Local 47 to Colton Fire Explorer Post 211 <br />Fire Chief McHargue presented a Certificate of Appreciation to IBEW Local 47 for their donation of $2,500 to <br />the Colton Fire Explorer Post 211; Fire Captain Mike Rustin gave a brief overview of how this donation came <br />to fruition; Certificate accepted by Stan Stosul, Member, IBEW Local 47; a simulated check for $2,500 was <br />presented to Fire Chief McHargue and Fire Captain Rustin. <br />• Proclamation -National Library Week— April 11 — 18, 2015 <br />CM Bennett presented a Proclamation announcing National Library Week of April l l through 18, 2015; <br />accepted by Edward Pedroza, Library Supervisor; Mr. Pedroza announced the events that will take place in and <br />around the Colton Public Library Building during National Library Week. <br />Presentation - Swear in Interim Police Chief Mark Owens <br />Prior to the taking of the Oath of Office, Mayor DeLaRosa introduced in the audience Chief Owens family; <br />Law Enforcement Dignitaries and City of Colton Police Officers (38 in number). <br />Family Members: Kathy Owens/Wife; Madison Owens/Daughter; Blake Hardiman/Daughter; Josh <br />Hardiman/Son; Paisley/Granddaughter; Tom Owens/Father; and Genny Owens/Step-mother. <br />Law Enforcement Dijznitaries: San Bernardino Undersheriff Joe Cusimano; San Bernardino Assistant Sheriff <br />David Williams; Hemet Police Chief David Brown; President Lauren Leichlter Sheriffs SEBA Union; Fontana <br />Police Chief Rod Jones; and San Bernardino Police Association Chief McBride. <br />Oath of Office Administered by Mayor DeLaRosa and Mayor Pro Tem Navarro to Chief Mark Owens. <br />Chief Owens acknowledged and thanked all members in the audience in attendance on his behalf.
