CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING MINUTES July 7, 2015 Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:05 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Richard DeLaRosa presiding. Padilla, City Clerk CEREMONIAL MATTERS Presentations, Awards, Proclamations • Presentation — National Parks & Recreation Month Mayor DeLaRosa presented a Certificate of Recognition declaring July 2015 National Parks and Recreation Month'. Certificate accepted by Deb Farrar, Community Services Director (Acting). • Presentation — American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Outstanding Structural Engineering Project. Lisa Reece, Vice -President, HDR Engineering Inc., began with a video presentation entitled 'Colton Crossing Relieving the Nations Oldest Bottleneck'; The video outlined all the parties involved in the success of the Colton Crossing (Upper Colton Flyover Project Rail to Rail Grade separation) which was completed under budget and above schedule. Ms. Reece and Mr. Ray Wolf, Executive Director of SANBAG, presented two awards and accepted by Mayor DeLaRosa and Mayor Pro Tem Navarro: • ASCE Award — The Outstanding Structural Engineering Project of the Year in the entire State of California to the City of Colton. • CTP (California Transportation Foundation) Award —The Rail Project of the Year for Colton Crossing to the City of Colton. 2015 JULY 7 REG CGSARDA/CUA/CHA/CHA MEETING - 2-
