Resolution to Accept Grant Funds Awarded from the CalFire Urban and Community Forestry <br />Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund Grant Program and Authorize the City Manager to Sign the <br />Agreement, RESOLUTION NO. R-93-15. <br />(8) Restoring Single Firefighter Paramedic Position — Approve and Adopt Resolution Restoring a Single <br />Firefighter Paramedic (Medic) Position that was Mistakenly Left out of the Fiscal Year 2015-16 Budget, <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-94-15. <br />(9) Professional Services Agreement/Interwest Consulting Group and VCA Code - Authorize Professional <br />Services Agreement with Interwest Consulting Group and VCA Code to Provide Supplemental Plan <br />Check and Building Inspection Services through FY2015-16. <br />(10) Contract/Steinv and Company — Award the Construction Contract for the Traffic Signal Installation at <br />La Cadena Drive Project to Steiny and Company as the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder in <br />the Amount of $292,868 and Authorize the City Manager to Approve Change Orders Not -to -Exceed <br />10% of Awarded Contract. <br />(11) Resolution of Support/Transportation Funding — Approve and Adopt Resolution No. R-98-15, Urging <br />the Governor and Legislature to Identify a Sufficient and Stable Funding Source for Local Street, Road, <br />and State Highway Maintenance and Rehabilitation to Ensure the Safe and Efficient Mobility of the <br />Traveling Public and the Economic Vitality of California, RESOLUTION NO. R-98-15. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />(12) Resolutions Approving Sale and DDA Agreements <br />TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS APPROVING: (1) A <br />PURCHASE SALE AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY; AND (2) A DISPOSITION AND <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH VALLEY ORANGE ENTERPRISES, LLC (SOUTHWEST <br />CORNER OF VALLEY AND PEPPER). <br />Mayor DeLaRosa declared the Public Hearing Open. <br />City Clerk Padilla submitted the Affidavit of Publication calling the Public Hearing (on file in the City Clerk's Office) <br />and there were no reports of protests or objections thereto. <br />STAFF PRESENTATION <br />Arthur Morgan, Economic Development Manager, summarized for Council consideration the agenda report and <br />detailed items of importance and concluding in requesting approval of staff's recommendation. Mr. Morgan <br />introduced Developer Salah Haggag, Valley -Orange Enterprises, LLC; he was available for any questions <br />and/or concerns from Council. <br />Motion and Second by CM Suchil/MPT Navarro to Close the Public Hearing. <br />Vote: All answered `Aye'. Unanimous Vote. <br />COUNCIL DISCUSSION <br />Council gave an overview and positive comments of how this project developed over time (2008 — 2015) to <br />finally come before Council in the final format for approval.
