• Proclamation - National Parks & Recreation Month <br />Council Member Isaac Suchil read the National Parks & Recreation Month Proclamation into the <br />record and presented it to Recreation Services Manager Deb Farrar. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />JULY 2, 2013. <br />Mayor Sarah S. Zamora asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a <br />conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. <br />AB 1234 ORAL REPORTS <br />Council Member Bennett reported that she attended the ICSC RECon 2013 in Las Vegas, with <br />Mayor Zamora, MPT Toro, and Council Members Gonzales and Suchil. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />The following community members addressed the Council: <br />Bridgette Washington, Labor Relations Representative for the San Bernardino Public Employees <br />Association; Laura Morales, Colton Joint Unified School Board Member/Colton Chamber <br />Executive Director; Margie Miller, Colton Chamber Board Member; Ron Lawrence; and Frank <br />Montes, Chairman of the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber. <br />APPOINTMENTS <br />• District 5 — Planning Commission Appointment — Jack Woods <br />Motion and second by CM Suchil/Gonzales, to approve the appointment of Jack Woods to the <br />Planning Commission.
