(Ila) Personnel City Manager Benest reported on the salary schedule for part-time em- ployees for the City, advising that the effective date of these hourly rates should be April 18, 1987. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve RESOLUTION NO. R-39-87, salary schedule for part-time employees of the City. Unanimous vote. MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL ITEMS: Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation acknowledging VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK, April 26 through May 2, 1987. The Proclamation was accepted by Police Chief Connolly. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Landscaping & Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 Res. No. R-41-87 Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. Director of Public Works John Hutton reported the public hearing this evening allows the property owners within the District to file protests regarding the proposed Annexation No. 6, which is located north of San Bernardino Avenue and west of Pepper Avenue.
