COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 18, 1987 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on <br />the above given date at 7:30 p. m., at the Lawrence A. Hutton Community <br />Center, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />ROT.T. [.AT.T.: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards, <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Mr. Benest stated that Item No. 3, under the Consent Calendar, will <br />be excluded, and considered at the next regular Council Meeting. <br />(1) Minutes <br />August 4, 1987 <br />(2) Warrants <br />61549 through 61911, and 132958 through 133185, 133186 <br />through 133345 (August 13, 1987) inclusive. <br />(3) Bids <br />Waiver of Bid Security requirement of the Municipal Code when <br />requesting quotations on Vehicles. <br />(4) Bids <br />Award of Bid, RTE Corporation, $9,511.38, various sized <br />transformers, Electric Department. <br />(5) Legislation <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-107-87, Urging Approval of Measure "A", a <br />Countywide Transportation Improvement Program. <br />(6) Tax Rates <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-108-87, Authorizing 1987-88 Tax Rate for <br />1965 Railway Underpass G.O.
