COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 21, 1987 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on <br />the above given date at 7:30 p. m., at the Lawrence A. Hutton Community <br />Center, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. <br />Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards, and City <br />Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilwoman Cisneros. <br />Councilwoman Cisneros <br />Councilman Rios stated that Councilwoman Cisneros' absence was due to <br />recent surgery, and she is convalescing at home. Mr. Rios said Mrs. <br />Cisneros wanted to thank everyone for their concern, the many cards <br />and the many prayers. <br />City Hall Renovation <br />Mr. Benest also announced that due to the renovation of the Council <br />Chambers, the meeting was relocated to the Hutton Center. Mr. Benest <br />stated it is hopeful the Council Chambers will be completed by the <br />first Council Meeting in August. <br />City Manager Benest <br />Mayor Gonzales said he would like to take this opportunity to congratu- <br />late our City Manager, Frank Benest, upon completing his first year with <br />the City of Colton, and for a job well. done. Mayor Gonzales stated he <br />looked forward to working with Mr. Benest in the future. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Mr. Benest stated that Item No. 11, under the Consent Calendar, will <br />be removed. <br />(1) Minutes <br />June 9, 11, 17 and 30, 1987 - Adjourned <br />June 16, 1987 - Regular <br />(2) Warrants <br />60831 through 61161, and 132437 through 132541, 132542 through <br />132677, 132678 through 132829 (July 16, 1987) inclusive <br />(3) Sewer Discharge <br />Resolution in support of the Santa Ana River Dischargers <br />Association, RESOLUTION NO.
