The purpose and scope of these hearings is to consider the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for the Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project and the First Amendment to the West Valley Redevelopment Project, in- cluding consideration of all objections which may be made at the hear- ings to the Plans or the Environmental Impact Reports. The first Project to be considered will be the Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project. John Brown, Legal Counsel, Best, Best & Krieger, stated let the record show that Councilman Rehrer has disqualified himself from voting on all matters concerning the Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project. Mayor Gonzales continued prior to opening the public hearing, the Agency will consider several brief items relating to the transmittal of a re- port to the City Council on the Mt. Vernon Corridor Project, and re- lating to the provision of low and moderate income housing outside the Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project Area. Chairperson Cisneros presented Resolution No. 520 for the Agency's con- sideration and approval. Moved by Member Rios, seconded by Member Garcia, to approve Resolution No. 520. Motion carried, with Member Rehrer disqualifying himself. RESOLUTION NO. 520 - A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON APPROVING ITS REPORT ON THE REDE- VELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE MT. VERNON CORRIDOR REDE- VELOPMENT PROJECT AND TRANSMITTING THE REPORT AND THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON. Chairperson Cisneros presented Resolution No. 521 for the Agency's con- sideration and approval. Moved by Member Garcia, seconded by Member Rios, to approve Resolution No. 521. Motion carried, with Member Rehrer disqualifying himself. RESOLUTION NO. 521 - A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON FINDING THAT THE PROVISION OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING OUTSIDE THE MT. VERNON CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT WILL BE OF BENEFIT TO THE PROJECT. Mayor Gonzales presented Resolution No. R-75-87 for Council's consider- ation and approval. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Resolution No. R-75-87. Motion carried, with Councilman Rehrer dis- qualifying himself.
