CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of November 16, 1993 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL vex <br />FROM: Max Bowman, Interim Director of Recreation and Human Services <br />SUBJECT: POLICY FOR NAMING OF CITY PARKS, PARK FEATURES AND COMMUNITY <br />FACILITIES <br />DATE: October 27, 1993 <br />DISCUSSION <br />There is a need to establish a policy and application for the purpose of selecting the appropriate name <br />to be permanantly affixed to a park, park feature or community facility. <br />The policy will give the applicant the direction and the steps they must take to achieve the naming of <br />the facility. <br />On September 22, 1993 the Recreation and Parks Commission approved the attached draft resolution, <br />and on October 20 they approved the application. <br />FISCAL IMPACT - None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Mayor and City Council approve the draft resolution and application. <br />City Manager's Concurrence <br />MB:mm <br />ATTACHMENTS: -Resolution <br />-Application <br />-Recreation & Parks Commission Minutes <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />Item No. <br />
