CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 21, 1997 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL-TEVIE <br />POSITION OF SEWER LINE MAINTENANCE WORKER H IN THE <br />WATER AND WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: JANUARY 13, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Sewer Line Maintenance Worker II position in the Water <br />and Wastewater Department. Attached is the job description for the classification; salary range is <br />$2,604 - $3,163 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list was <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is an enterprise fund position and is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal <br />year as follows: Account No. 522-8200-8200-1010 (salary) and Account No. 522-8200-8200-1100 <br />(salary related benefits). <br />Thomas K.
