�r <br />� RESOLUTION NO. <br />2 � <br />RESOLUTIOiV O� THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CfTY O� COLTON, <br />3 CALIFORNlA, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR FlSCAL YEAR COMMENCING <br />JULY 1, 1997 AND ENDING ON JUNE 30, 1998. . <br />4 � <br />i <br />5 THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O�' COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: - <br />6 <br />� SECTiON 1. The Budget for the City of Colton for the fiscal year <br />8 <br />commencing on July 1, 1997 and ending on June 30, 1998 is hereby approved <br />9 <br />and adopted and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". <br />10 , <br />11 SECTION 2. At the end of fiscal year 1996-97, certain purchase orders <br />12 exist as Outstanding Encumbrances representing contractual obligations of <br />�3 previousfy budgeted funds. Also budgeted funds for certain items or projects in <br />14 various stages of acquisition or development has previously been a roved b <br />75 <br />PP Y <br />the City Council to be carried forward to fiscal year 1997-98 as Continuing <br />16 <br />17 Appropriations. The Outstanding Encumbrances and Continuing Appropriations <br />18 are deemed to be rebudgeted as an addition to the budget amounts previously <br />�� set forth in this resolution. <br />20 <br />SECTION 3. The Approved Budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />21 <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State. <br />22 <br />23 SECTI�N 4. The Finance Director may make the reallocation of <br />24 appropriations within department divisions. Amendments (Increases/Decreases) <br />25 to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />
