Your community's name or address, or name of the responsible party, as appropriate, must be inserted where <br />(brackets) occur; <br />2. If the higher standards, i.e. the State of California recommendations in Section 5, are adopted the community <br />can receive credit under the Community Rating System (CRS) program; <br />3. Communities with a "basement exemption' in accordance with Section 60.6 (b) or (c) of the National Flood <br />Insurance Program regulations as revised October 1, 1988, should revise Section 5.1 C.1 appropriately; <br />4. Communities that do not have certain special flood hazard area zones <br />identified on their Flood Insurance Rate Map(s) (FIRM'S) may find it <br />necessary to modify the model ordinance as follows: <br />— with no erosion prone areas (Zone E): <br />-- in Section 2, delete the definitions "area of special flood -related erosion hazard", "flood -related <br />erosion", "flood -related erosion area", and flood -related erosion area management". <br />-- in Section 2, delete the words "flood -related erosion hazards" from the definition of "special <br />flood hazard area". <br />DRAFT <br />
