Brown Act does not apply to conferences simple because <br />a majority of the city council or other covered body attends. However, <br />a majority of the body may not discuss among themselves specific <br />substantive issues at such conferences. Any such discussion is subject <br />to the Brown Act and must oeen in a meeting that complies with its <br />requirements. <br />Elected Officials Leadership Academy <br />Get credit toward completing the League's Elected Officials <br />Leadership Academy by attending the sessions identified with this <br />symbol.
