I RESOLUTIONNO. R-57-00 <br />2 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />4 RESOLUTION NO. 73-99 <br />5 <br />6 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, Human Resource Department has determined that <br />7 the City's current rate of compensation for the position of Office Support Floater needs to promote growth in <br />skills learned through longevity; and <br />8 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that an experienced and well-qualified Office Support Floater <br />9 is necessary for the City to depend less on temporary agencies; and <br />10 WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that back-up is being provided by this position to the City <br />Clerk's Office for the scanning and passport programs; and <br />I I <br />WHEREAS, the City Council also recognizes that providing competitive wages is essential in retaining <br />12 experienced and well-qualified employees; and <br />13 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the compensation for the position of office Support <br />Floater I and 11, by establishing a Series Reclass which will promote growth and longevity in this position. <br />14 <br />BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />15 <br />SECTION 1: Resolution No. 26-98, establishing a full-time Pay and Classification Plan for the City of <br />16 Colton, is hereby amended as follows: <br />17 SALARY <br />CLASSIFICATION RANGE A B C D E <br />18 <br />Office Support Floater 1 106 $1743 $1830 $1922 $2018 $2119 <br />19 Office Support Floater 11 120 $2215 $2326 $2443 $2564 $2693 <br />20 SECTION 2.
