HUTTON, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: <br />FINAL ACCEPTANCE / NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR <br />THE 1999/2000 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION <br />PROJECT — CONTRACTOR MATICH CORPORATION. <br />DATE: July 5, 2000 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The 1999/2000 Pavement Rehabilitation Project consisted of curb to curb paving <br />rehabilitation of various streets, which also included streets from the City's Utility <br />Department Project (FY99-00 Water/Sewer Rehabilitation Project). <br />The Project was approved and awarded to Matich Corporation at an estimated <br />cost of $1,147,805.20. During the course of the project, eleven change orders <br />were necessary, both increasing and decreasing the contract. A portion of these <br />change orders was made as a result of changes made to the FY99-00 <br />Water/Sewer Rehabilitation Project. The total cost of the project was <br />$1,116,658.49. <br />SUMMARY: <br />The contractor completed the work, as specified in the contract, on <br />June 26, 2000. The records indicate that this project was completed within the <br />allowable working days. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />1 of 2 Item #14 <br />
