RESOLUTION NO. a-47-00 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF 2 ASSESSMENTS FOR THE COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1, FISCAL YEAR 2000/2001 3 The City Council of the City of Colton, California (hereinafter referred to as the "City Council") 4 5 does resolve as follows 6 WHEREAS, the City Council has by previous Resolutions initiated proceedings for the 7 District, declared its intention to levy assessments for Fiscal Year 2000/2001, and approved the 8 Engineer's Annual Levy Report (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") that describes the 9 assessments against parcels of land within the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance 10 Assessment District No. 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "District") for the Fiscal Year 11 commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001 pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping 12 and Lighting Act of 1972, Pan 2 of Dkisic n 15 of the Califo>ia Smets and Higkutys Cale, cwrn rx* Leidy 13 14 Sation 22500 (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") to pay for the maintenance and services of all 15 improvements and facilities related thereto; and, 16 WHEREAS, a Report has been prepared and filed with the City Clerk, and the City 17 Clerk has presented to the City Council said Report in connection with the proposed levy and 18 collection of assessments upon eligible parcels of land within the District and the City Council 19 did by previous Resolution approve such Report; and, 20 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to levy and collect assessments against parcels of 21 land within the District for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001 to 22 23 pay for the maintenance and services of all improvements and facilities related thereto. 24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CM OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA FOR 25 COLTON LANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.1 AS FOLLOWS: 26 Section 1 Following notice duly given, the City Council has held a full and fair public 27 hearing regarding the District, the levy and collection of assessments, the Report 28 prepared in connection therewith, and considered all oral and written statements, 1
