21 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 2, 198$ <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />Mayor Huntoon led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />ROLL CALL - <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Huntoon. Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />O Mayor Huntoon stated that Item No. 3 on the Consent Calendar, approval <br />of financing documents for Mayer Group and Resolution No. 4542, will <br />CObe removed and discussed later. <br />LO <br />Q (1) Minutes <br />M December 18, 1984 <br />Q (2) Warrants <br />39790 through 40059 <br />117591 through 117787 <br />December 27, 1984, inclusive <br />(3) Financing/Bonds <br />Consider approval of financing documents for $7.5 million <br />_ Multi -Family Revenue Bonds and RESOLUTION N0. 4543. (SBE <br />Development) <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to ap- <br />prove the Consent Calendar, with the deletion of Item No. 3. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />Financing/Bonds <br />City Manager Elliott stated Resolution No. 4542 needed the name of the <br />Trustee included as part of the financing documents, and Security Paci- <br />fic National Bank has now been appointed as Trustee, and their name wil <br />be added in the space provided in Resolution No. 4542, relating to the <br />multi -family rental housing project to be constructed by the Mayer Grou <br />Mr. Elliott concluded Staff recommends approval of the financing docu- <br />ments and Resolution No. 4542 for the multi -family rental housing proj- <br />ect by the Mayer Group. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to ap- <br />prove financing documents and Resolution No. 4542 as outlined by Staff. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO <br />_4542 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON APPROVING DOCUMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF <br />MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BONDS (1985 ISSUE B). <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Contracts/Agreements <br />City Manager Elliott reported the City Manager's Office has been re- <br />ceiving complaints of unusual rent increases from apartment renters <br />and mobile home owners, and some requests have been for rent control <br />while others have asked for referral to other agencies that could <br />hear their complaints and receive recommendations. <br />JAN 2 1985 <br />
