City is facing an 8 million dollar deficit and the fact that she <br />was elected to act in a financially responsible manner. Once the <br />Center is built, there will be no money for staffing or <br />furnishings. <br />City Attorney Biggs said she could understand the concerns of <br />Councilmember Bennett and invited her to submit to her any <br />information she might have regarding the statements she has made <br />today, stating that no one is perfect or all knowing and she <br />would like the opportunity to review the material. <br />Upon roll call vote, motion carried. Councilmember Bennett <br />voting NO. <br />ADJOURNMENT• <br />There being no further business to come before the Council at <br />this time, on motion of Councilmember Beltran, seconded by <br />Councilmember Rios and carried, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the <br />meeting at 5:17 p.m. <br />HELEN A.
