COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 19, 1994 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 6:35 P. M., in Council Chambers as <br />duly noticed, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />INVOCATION• <br />Invocation was offered by Chaplain Glen C. Harris. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Rios, Cisneros, <br />Cook, Beltran, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were Interim City <br />Manager Winter, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />GUESTS: <br />Mayor Gonzales greeted San Bernardino Valley College Instructor Ed <br />Millican and his Political Science class and introduced them to the <br />assembly. <br />AGENDA REVIEW• <br />Councilmember Sandoval requested that Agenda Item No. 6 be pulled <br />and returned to staff for further investigation. He called <br />attention to vegetation; an uneven man -hole at the underpass and <br />the street is coming apart at "N" and La Cadena . He asked that <br />these complaints be looked into before a Notice of Completion be <br />accepted and approved. <br />Councilmember Bennett inquired as to Agenda No. 7. She asked if <br />signs were already up. After discussion, Public Works Director <br />Hutton confirmed that signs had been posted, without his knowledge. <br />Councilmember Bennett criticized the action as approval from <br />Council would now be after the fact. She stated proper procedure <br />had not been observed.
