COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 20, 1994 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 6:39 P. M., in Council Chambers as <br />duly noticed, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />INVOCATION• <br />Invocation given by Chaplain Walt Miller. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Cisneros, Cook, <br />Beltran, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager <br />Martinez, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. Councilmember <br />Rios was absent due to a job commitment. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Aaenda Item No. 1 <br />Councilmember Bennett requested that the minutes of September 6, <br />1994 be clarified to include the fact that she was absent due to a <br />death in the immediate family. <br />Agenda Item No. it <br />Councilmember Cook posed a question on the final acceptance and <br />notice of completion regarding the CDBG/Colton street improvement <br />project. Public Works Director Hutton stated that the CDBG funds <br />were used for the repaving of certain streets and the project was <br />completed under the amount estimated, with savings in the amount of <br />$60,000. He suggested reallocation of the savings be applied to <br />the next project for street improvements which will include "M", <br />6th and Congress Streets. He asked for authority to proceed. City <br />Attorney Biggs pointed out that the reallocation of the balance of <br />the funds was not agendized. Director Hutton said he would pursue <br />the matter. <br />Agenda Item No. 30 <br />City Attorney Biggs called attention to the fact that Item 30 on <br />1 <br />
