SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 1994 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, a Special Meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 6:35 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, <br />Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Rios, Cisneros, <br />Cook, Beltran, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were Acting City <br />Manager Winter, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CLOSED SESSION• <br />Mayor Gonzales announced the Council would adjourn to Closed <br />Session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, to discuss <br />Public Employee appointment for the position of City Manager. <br />The Council adjourned to Closed Session at 6:35 p.m. and reconvened <br />at 7:02 p.m. All members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council had conducted <br />discussion in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54957 and that no action had been taken. <br />Mayor Gonzales declared that now was the time for City Council <br />action on the appointment of the City Manager and, further, upon <br />his direction, City Attorney Biggs read proposed Resolution No. R- <br />112-94, setting forth compensation at $100,000 per year in salary <br />together with full City Executive Employee benefits with a <br />performance and salary review to be conducted at the end of 12 <br />months service. The amount of bond was fixed at $500,000. <br />Motion by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember <br />Cisneros, to appoint Mr. Nabar Enrique Martinez as City Manager of <br />the City of Colton and to adopt Resolution No. R-112-94. After <br />roll call, Motion carried upon unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO.
