FEBRUARY21� <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Halal duly noticed for 6 30 Pd M., Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />At 6 d 42 P. Ma ga f ter the Redeve10 m t Agency f s se s Siong Mayor Fu 1p <br />declaredea recess to 6.55 P. M. At 6:57 P. M. , Mayor Fulp declared <br />the meeting convened. <br />I_VOI <br />Invocation was offered by Chaplain Bob Johnson. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Huttonandoval, Bennett, e , Cook, <br />Sanders,. Beltran, and Mayor F tp a Also present were City Manager <br />Martinez, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Counc i 1 er Beltran requested that Agenda Item No. 2 be palled <br />for individual vote. Council e } er Hutton requested that Agenda <br />Item o. 7 be pulled for discussion. <br />Mayor F tp moved, seconded by Councilmember Bennett, to address n <br />vote on each consent calendar item. Council am er Sandoval <br />countered that this subject had been raised before and had been <br />rejected by major it. of Council. Councilmember Sandoval moved that <br />the Consent Calendar be accepted its entirety except. for Items <br />2 and 7. Motion filed dor lack of second. <br />Agenda Item <br />Co . cil ember Beltran posed questions regarding payment of warrants <br />and denounced the use of RDA for these payments as it is depleting. <br />RDA F ouncilmember Beltran moved to have any payments of <br />warrants cease as of tomorrow and he cast a vote against approval <br />of warrants. Councilmember Bennett seconded this motion. Finance <br />Director Chamberlain responded that all the cash is in a pool <br />ed <br />cash condition. She indicated °that all warrants in question have <br />been released except for the warrant in the sum of $365,000, due <br />for release this Wednesday. Councilmember Senders asked. if there <br />was a clear audit trail and Finance Director Chamberlain said that <br />ith the general fund -,n a € efic .°t, the balance is positive and <br />there 'is a clear trail of warrants paid for from pool cash. <br />Counc lmember eltranl�s prior motion failed with Councilmembers <br />
