CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 5, 1995 <br />A Regular. Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers <br />Of City Hall Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE <br />Mayor Fulp led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />INVOCATION• <br />Invocation was offered by Chaplain Pete Tasaka. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, Beltran <br />and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager Martinez, City <br />Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilmember <br />Sandoval. City Clerk Ramos read a Memorandum from Councilmember <br />Sandoval explaining his absence due to his wife having emergency <br />surgery. <br />e,�� <br />MAYOR AND COiINCIL ITEMS: <br />Presentations Awards Proclamations <br />Recognition <br />Mayor Fulp read the Resolution of Recognition to; Assemblyman <br />James Brulte and Michael Neri, M.D. as requested by California <br />Inland Empire Boy Scouts of America. <br />Mayor Fulp reported that three residents of La Loma Hills <br />wanted him to recognize Refuse Employee Terry Dornon for the <br />way in which he has been servicing them. Mayor Fulp said he <br />had a Mayors Eagle for him and said in the absence of Mr. <br />Dornan he would give it to Public Works Director Hutton to be <br />forwarded to Mr. Dornan. <br />* Mayor Fulp recognized the Montez Family, saying son David is <br />part of the Ken Hubbs Little League System and is in his last <br />year in the Major Division. Mayor Fulp said for his team, <br />David was at bat 54 times and earned 21 runs, 29 hits <br />doubles, 3 triples , 7 <br />, 14 RBIs and finished the year with a <br />batting average of 537.
