COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 69 1995 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 6:.40 P. M., in the Council Chambers <br />of the City Hall duly noticed, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />Mayor Fulp welcomed all to the first televised City Council <br />meeting. <br />FLAG SALUTE⢠<br />Mayor Fulp led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Ms. Candace Bell sang a tribute to "America the Beautiful." <br />INVOCATION⢠<br />Invocation was offered by Chaplain Manny Orio. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, <br />Sanders, Beltran, and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager <br />Martinez, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Presentations, Awards Proclamations <br />Wedding Anniversary <br />Councilmember Sanders congratulated Councilmember Beltran and his <br />Wife on the celebration of their 42nd wedding anniversary, today. <br />Councilmember Beltran accepted the felicitations and expressed a <br />personal sentiment to his wife, Joa. <br />Max Lofy Pony League <br />Mayor Fulp invited Mr. Ernest Cabrera to the dais where he <br />presented him with a contribution of money for the Pony .League. <br />Mr. Cabrera expressed gratitude on behalf of the Max Lofy Pony <br />League, on Saturday, the league held a mariachi event which was a <br />success with the support of Mayor Fulp, Councilmembers Cook and <br />Sunders, and Councilmember Beltran, who could not be present, and <br />employees. He said the league had to share facilities with Colton <br />High School. The fields were lacking. They never had a <br />JUN 0 6 1995 <br />
