Preservation Commission to Historic Preservation Commission, and to <br />qualify the City of Colton for the Certified Local Government Program, <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-11-96. <br />Motion and second by CM Sanders/Cook to accept and approve the Consent Calendar <br />except Item 11 which was pulled for discussion. Motion carried with CM Hutton <br />absent. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that City Council would meet in Closed Session to <br />confer with Legal Counsel regarding two matters of pending litigation pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54956.9(b): Tennyson v. City of Colton and v. Gibbonev <br />City of Colton (CV 96-2973). <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that City Council would meet in Closed Session to <br />confer with Legal Counsel regarding one matter of significant exposure to litigation <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b). <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that City Council would meet in Closed Session to <br />confer with Legal Counsel regarding one matter and possible initiation of litigation <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 (c). <br />At 8:22 P. M., meeting adjourned to Closed Session and at 9:00 P. M., meeting <br />reconvened with all Members present except for CM Hutton who was absent. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that Council did meet in Closed Session as previously <br />announced regarding two matters of pending litigation, in re, Tennyson v. City of <br />Colton and Gibboney v. City of Colton. Further, Council did meet regarding one <br />matter of significant exposure to litigation and one item of potential initiation of <br />litigation. She stated there was no reportable action taken as to these items. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Economic Development Director Gabriel presented recap of his report regarding <br />adoption of a new alignment and the re-establishment of Agua Mansa Road and <br />Pepper Avenue as major transportation corridors in accord with the AMIGA Specific <br />Plan and Enterprise Zone. He indicated that major property owners, affected by this <br />proposal, are in support of the City proceeding with a General Plan Amendment <br />followed by the adoption of a specific alignment in accord with studies by the San <br />7 <br />
