CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />MARCH 5, 1996 <br />A regular meeting of'the City Council''of"the"City of 'Colton was <br />held ,on the above,.. given date at, 6.:32 P.M-, in, the Council Cham- <br />bers of City Hall, Mayor Fulp presiding.- <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance.. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Chaplain Kim Starr offered the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hansen, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, <br />Beltran, and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager Marti- <br />nez, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Freeman. Councilmember <br />Hutton was absent due to illness. <br />Mayor Fulp reviewed the rules of Decorum and order as well as <br />time limitation for each person requesting to speak. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Presentations Awards Proclamations <br />Councilmember Hansen read the proclamation recognizing National <br />-Community Development Week, April 1 through April 7, 1996. <br />Mayor Fulp recognized the presence of the Colton Youth Basketball <br />Team,,the'undefeated Hurricanes. CoachDave Evans thanked all <br />thosewho helped to make this ''season a success. Team players and <br />Kathy Evans, Team Mother, were called forward to be recognized. <br />Mayor Fulp presented each player with the Mayor's "kudo". <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />With Council approval, Mayor Fulp declared Item 30, Item 31, and <br />Item 23 to follow the Consent Calendar: <br />Councilmember Sanders requested Item 3 be pulled for discussion. <br />Councilmember Hansen requested Item,8 be pulled for discussion. <br />Mayor Fulp requested Item 6, Item 7, and Item 12 be pulled for <br />discussion. <br />u <br />1 <br />MAR90 <br />
