Motion/second by CM SandOVallMayor Gaytan, to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes ofdanuary 21, 1997 and Special Meeting ofMinutes ofFebruary 13, 1997. Steve Anderson, Colton resident, spoke regarding the ordinance regulating Adult Uses which was adopted at the 2124197 Council Meeting and asked that those members not present at that meeting, for the record, state if they were in support of the ordinance. (2) Warrant - Approval of Warrants Register dated February 12, 1997, consisting of 6 Pages; Warrants Register dated February 20, 1997, consisting of 4 Pages; Payroll Warrant Register dated February 25, 1997, consisting of 10 Pages and Payroll Warrants Register dated February 12, 1997, consisting of 2 Pages, as recommended by the Director of Finance. Motion1second by CM Sandoval/Cook to approve the warrants listed. Motion carried with CM Chastain abstainingfrom vote based on conflict of interest.. (3) Personnel - Ratified Employee Appointment to the Full -Time Positions (Two) of Firefigher Specialist in the Fire Department. (4) Personnel - Ratified Employee Appointment to the Full -Time Position of Police Officer in the Police Department. (5) Personnel - Approved Salary Range for the Full -Time Position of Assistant to the Public Works Director. (6) Claims - Denied Claims Against the City Submitted by Robert Cabral, Eric Diaz, Jessie Martinez, Pacific Bell, and June Sabens. (7) Notice of Completion/Pavement - Approved the Project Change Orders and Final Acceptance/ Notice of Completion for the 1997/97 Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
