Cable to Graybar Electrical in the Amount of <br />$21,675.75. <br />(9) Bid - Awarded Bid for Weed Abatement Contract to Darrell Babarick in the estimated amount <br />of $40,000. <br />(10) Budg - Accepted the Financial Activity Report for the Month of January 1997. <br />(11) Public Work - Authorized Transfer of Cost Savings Funds from FY 96-97 Paving Program <br />and Approve Budget Amendment Resolution to Gas Tax Fund for the C.D.B.G. Project Cost <br />Shortfalls, RESOLUTION NO. R-22-97. <br />Councilmember Bennett pulled this item forfurther clarification in the area of source funding. After <br />discussion and clarification, John Hutton, Public Works Director requested approval of the <br />following: (I)Authorization to transfer the cost savings, in the amount of $144, 518from the 1996-97 <br />Pavement Rehabilitation -Gas Tax Fund to the C.D.B.G. Project 104-21705; (2) To approve and <br />authorize the re -allocation of Host City Fee Funds from the Fiscal 1996-97 Capital Improvement <br />Budget (Agua Mansa Area) in the amount o $50,000 to C.D.B.G. Project 104-21605; and (3) To <br />!f <br />approve the budget amendmentfor the Fiscal 1996-97 Capital Improvement Budget -Gas Tax Fund to <br />C.D.B.G. Project 104-21805 (Congress, L, N, 0, &7th, 10" and 11' Street improvements) in the <br />amount of $72, 032. <br />Motion1second by CM BennettlSandoval to approve staffs recommendation and approve and adopt <br />Resolution No. R-22-97 and direct staff to review and evaluate the monies available to redirect <br />C.D.B. G. funds set asidefor approved projects that have not been completed so that when approval <br />is receivedfrom the County the Gas Tax Funds are to be reimbursed. <br />(t2) Perini - Approved Request from Immaculate Conception Catholic for Items for Events <br />Scheduled for March 20; May 29; and May 31, 1997. <br />(13) Easement - Approved the Purchase of an Easement from the Southern Pacific Railroad for the <br />Construction of a 108 -inch Storm Drain (Project 3-5) at Milepost B537-20. <br />Motion by Councilmember Sandoval, seconded by Councilmember Cook to approve and adopt the <br />Consent Calendar, except Items 1, 2, 7, and 11.
