Finance Director Vega announced the Electric Department's reduction at $1,553,049, with a <br />reduction in the amount of $734,542 for the Water Department and a reduction in the amount of <br />$5,028,350 for the Wastewater Department. She noted increases to capital projects, i.e., <br />curbs/gutters which was realized as an increase in the amount of $55,089 to the wastewater <br />budget. Director Vega said the San Timoteo funding, approximately $136,000, remained in the <br />1997-98 budget and would be carried forward. City Manager Garcia informed that missing links <br />for curb and gutter have not prioritized and the monies held equal $150,000. <br />As to the NPDES program, inquiry was made if all of the proposed allocations were deemed legal <br />under the guidelines of the federal program. City Manager Garcia indicated that they were but <br />wanted further opportunity to confirm it with City Attorney. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />With consensus of City Council, At 10:02 P.
