He also recognized Bill Thomas, Area Manager for Southern California <br />Edison and Jake Thomas and Kevin Simmons from Enron. <br />RECESS <br />At 8:05 P.M., Mayor Gaytan declared a recess and reconvened at 8:29 P.M. All members present <br />except Councilmember Grimsby who left at 7:39 P.M. <br />Deregulation Workshop: (continued) <br />Mayor Gaytan directed City Manager Garcia to facilitate questions from Council and the Public. <br />Staff provided clarification in the following areas of concern: <br />• Energy Service to Portland Cement <br />• Energy Service to San Bernardino County Medical Center <br />• Half Million Dollars - RIX Project <br />• Utility Users Tax <br />• Public Benefit Charge <br />`A <br />
