CONSENT CALENDAR <br />(1) Minutes - Approved Minutes for the Regular Meeting held March 17, 1998. <br />(2) Warrants - PULLED FOR SEPARATE VOTE: Approval of Accounts Payable Warrants <br />#14478 to #14704, dated 3/9/98, Totaling $655,245.84; Accounts Payable Warrants #14705 to <br />14853, dated 3/16/98, Totaling $490,440.45; Accounts Payable Warrants #14854 to #15050, <br />dated 3/19/98, Totaling $1,004,832.82; Payroll Warrants #184193 to #184548, dated 3/10/98, <br />Totaling $419,545.37; Payroll Warrants #184552 to #184902, dated 3/24/98, Totaling <br />$406,312.58; and, Payroll Warrants #184907 to #184954, dated 3/31/98, Totaling <br />$75,579.57, as recommended by the Finance Director and on File in the Finance Department. <br />(3) Claims - Denied claims against the City submitted by Henry Salazar and Viola Medrano. <br />(4) Contract - Approved the Award of Consulting Contract to David Leonard Associates, in the <br />amount of $98,140, for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report for Inland <br />Composting and Organic Recycling. <br />(5) Personnel/Utility - Approved the request for recruitment and ratification of employee <br />appointment to the full-time position of Utilities Inspector, in the Utility Department. <br />(6) Personnel/Utility - Approved the request to upgrade the vacant position in the Water <br />Department from Maintenance Worker II to Water Utilities Operator and approved the <br />request for recruitment and ratification of employee appointment to the full-time position <br />of Water Utilities Operator, in the Utility Department. <br />(7) Personnel/Police - Approved the request for recruitment and ratification of employee <br />appointment in the full-time position of Senior Police Services Clerk, in the Police <br />Department. <br />(8) Personnel/Police - Approved the request for recruitment and ratification of employee <br />appointment in the full-time position of Dispatcher I, in the Police Department. <br />(9) Personnel/Public Works - Approved the ratification of two employee appointments to the full- <br />time positions of Equipment Mechanic in the Public Works Department. <br />(10) Health Benefits - DEFERRED: Retirement Health Benefits for Dennis Morris, <br />RESOLUTION NO.
