Number of Potential Cases: 2 <br />D. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957 <br />Title: City Attorney <br />RECESS: <br />At 6:18 P. M., meeting was adjourned to Closed Session and at 7:51 P. M., the meeting was <br />reconvened with all Members present, except for CM Grimsby, who was absent. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />Interim City Attorney Carvalho declared the City Council did meet in Closed Session and considered <br />the following items: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR <br />ACTION: To be discussed at the end of the Agenda. <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR <br />ACTION: No reportable action. <br />C. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />ACTION: One Item was reported which involved the Construction of the Agua Mansa <br />Road, pursuant to a 1986 Specific Plan; City Council gave Staff direction to proceed with <br />an amendment of the 1993 Circulation Element and to do the necessary environmental <br />review to provide for the eventual construction of the road by a private developer. <br />D. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br />ACTION: No reportable action. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: City Manager. <br />Item No. 26 was pulled as Mayor Gaytan was not free to attend. Agenda Items 27, 28 and 29, oral <br />reports, were received and filed and after study, the items will return for discussion, at the next <br />meeting. Agenda Item 25 was tabled indefinitely based on the fact a needs assessment, study and <br />review, will be conducted by the County and based on the fact that CM Grimsby is absent. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Cook/Chastain, to advance the balance of the Agenda, <br />with the intent to approve all Items except for Nos. 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29, carried unanimously with <br />CM Grimsby absent. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />(1) Minutes - Approved Minutes for the Regular Meeting held, April 7, 1998, on file in the <br />Office of the City Clerk. <br />Council Mins April 21,1998 2 <br />
