M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Gaytan, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Pledge of Allegiance led by Acting Police Captain Randy Heusterberg. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Invocation offered by Chaplain James Stovall. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />P,�SEiZ7 <br />CM Donald J. Sanders <br />CM Betty L. Cook <br />CM John C. Hutton <br />City Manager Garcia <br />Mayor Karl E. Gaytan <br />City Clerk Barrera <br />CM Kelly J. Chastain <br />CM Deirdre H. Bennett <br />CM James B. Grimsby <br />City Attorney Associate Derleth <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Associate Derleth stated there was a late -breaking Closed Session Item to add: <br />Conference with Legal Counsel regarding an existing litigation, pursuant to G. C. Section 54956.9(a), <br />the case of Anderson v. City of Colton, Case No. SBCS, SCV 14981. He announced that Item D was <br />being pulled (by the City Attorney) and in re Anderson would be known as Item "D." <br />MOTIONNOTE: Motion/second by CM Sanders/Chastain to add discussion on litigation, <br />specifically Anderson v. City of Colton, carried with no objection to the motion. <br />City Attorney Associate Derleth announced the following Closed Session matters: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6: <br />Agency Negotiator: Dennis Morris <br />Employee Organization: Electric Unit and Colton Police Officers Association. <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />Name of Case: Yeardley v. City of Colton <br />Council Mins May 5,1998 1 <br />
