MOTION/VOTE: Following City Attorney Carvalho's advice, motion and second by CM DeLaRosa/Grimsby to approve the dance permit for the Rocks Club, to include all of the conditions as stipulated this evening, carried with CM Chastain voting "No." CM Bennett and Mayor Gaytan were absent. City Attorney Carvalho informed Applicant that the Dance Permit with the conditions would be available within 48 hours and she asked Applicant to sign off on the letter. City Attorney Carvalho said she would contact Applicant's attorney as requested. Mayor Gaytan assumed his place at the dais and continued presiding over the general meeting. It was noted that Members DeLaRosa and Sanders were momentarily absent from their places at the dais. PUBLIC HEARING: Weed Abatement I This was the time and place fixed to consider the Weed Abatement Program. Mayor Gaytan declared the Public Hearing "open." City Clerk Barrera informed that the Affidavit of Publication calling the Public Hearing was on file in the City Clerk's Office and announced that she did not receive any protests or objections. Fire Marshal Sork made brief presentation. There being no requests for comment, motion/second by Mayor Gaytan/CM Chastain to terminate the Public Hearing carried with no opposition. CM Bennett was absent. There was no further discussion or action on this matter. RECESS: At 8: 08 P.M., Mayor Gaytan declared a brief recess and at 8:27 P.
