Contribution to CSDP 3-5 <br />Adjusted to $610,000 to allow for shortfall. <br />Partial Matching Funds, Prop 13, State Safe <br />Feb. 1 is deadline date to submit the grant; <br />Drinking Water, etc. <br />Staff item will return with update on whether <br />the grant is received. <br />Center Street Extension <br />This is a partnership with the City of Riverside. <br />Utilities enterprise to pay for the water line and <br />Master Plan improvements. <br />RDA New Project Area <br />The proposed project encompasses Districts 6 <br />and 4. It is important to the corridor <br />development along Rancho Avenue and La <br />Cadena Drive and the possibility of future <br />vacant buildings. The item will be a endized. <br />Fire Department Training Center <br />The proposal is for removal of the tower from <br />Lofy field and construction of a new tower and <br />acquisition of land next to corporate yard. It <br />was suggested that thought be given for a safety <br />building that would include the training tower. <br />Item will be referred to the Public Facilities <br />Team. <br />Council Chamber Improvements <br />The proposal is for electronic technology at the <br />dais, reconfiguration of the dais and certain <br />improvements. Staff to submit a diagram and <br />report costs on various proposals re seating and <br />online readiness. <br />Customer Service Area Improvements <br />The proposed use of glass will be defined. It <br />was suggested that the payment area be <br />customer friendly that one window be ADA <br />accessible and the remaining windows be <br />constructed at regular heights so that customers <br />do not have to bend or kneel. Staff was <br />directed to investigate the use of another <br />camera to cover the north end of the corridor. <br />Sports Park DDA <br />The City recently entered into a professional <br />services agreement re site location. <br />Meridian Avenue Detention Basin <br />Improvements to mitigate flooding on Meridian <br />Improvements <br />Avenue. Staff directed to seek, again, rebate <br />from the design engineer. <br />Iowa/Main Street Improvements <br />Regionalism and leveraging of resources with <br />Riverside County, the City of Grand Terrace <br />and SANBAG regarding intersection <br />im rovements. <br />Valley Blvd. Grade Separation Study; <br />Future Issues; some regional and all leverage <br />Hunts Lane Grade Separation Study; <br />resources. <br />Pepper Street Extension; and <br />Drainage Study <br />Gasby <br />Presentation by Finance Director. <br />City Council Adj Mins Jan 23, 2001 2 <br />
