Case Number: San Bernardino Superior Court Case No. SCV 40486 <br />City Attorney Carvalho said the need arose to add an item concerning the position of City <br />Manager. Over the weekend, after the posting of the agenda, a Council Member received <br />information regarding a personnel matter concerning the city manager, requiring that immediate <br />action be taken. The item will be added and identified as Item B. City Attorney Carvalho <br />advised that this action would require Council's super majority vote. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/vote CM Zamora/DeLaRosa to add Closed Session Item B, the <br />personnel item regarding the position of City Manager, carried upon unanimous vote. City <br />Attorney Carvalho stated there was a possibility of reportable action. <br />(B) CONFERENCE REGARDING PERSONNEL MATTER <br />Pursuant to Government Code: 54957 <br />Position: City Manager <br />At 9:49 P. M., Mayor Bennett adjourned the general meeting to Closed Session and at 10:27 P. <br />M., the meeting reconvened with all Members present. <br />City Attorney Carvalho reported that the City Council did meet and did confer in Closed. Session <br />on the items previously announced: <br />(A) CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Action: Regarding Taormina Industries, Inc. v Stephen T. Anderson, there was no <br />reportable action taken. <br />(B) CONFERENCE REGARDING PERSONNEL MATTER <br />Action: Regarding the position of the City Manager, there was no reportable action taken. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />At 10:27 P.M., with consensus of Council, Mayor Bennett declared the meeting adjourned to <br />Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at 6:00 P.
