Case Number: San Bernardino Superior Court Case No. SCV 40486 City Attorney Carvalho said the need arose to add an item concerning the position of City Manager. Over the weekend, after the posting of the agenda, a Council Member received information regarding a personnel matter concerning the city manager, requiring that immediate action be taken. The item will be added and identified as Item B. City Attorney Carvalho advised that this action would require Council's super majority vote. MOTION/VOTE: Motion/vote CM Zamora/DeLaRosa to add Closed Session Item B, the personnel item regarding the position of City Manager, carried upon unanimous vote. City Attorney Carvalho stated there was a possibility of reportable action. (B) CONFERENCE REGARDING PERSONNEL MATTER Pursuant to Government Code: 54957 Position: City Manager At 9:49 P. M., Mayor Bennett adjourned the general meeting to Closed Session and at 10:27 P. M., the meeting reconvened with all Members present. City Attorney Carvalho reported that the City Council did meet and did confer in Closed. Session on the items previously announced: (A) CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION Action: Regarding Taormina Industries, Inc. v Stephen T. Anderson, there was no reportable action taken. (B) CONFERENCE REGARDING PERSONNEL MATTER Action: Regarding the position of the City Manager, there was no reportable action taken. ADJOURNMENT: At 10:27 P.M., with consensus of Council, Mayor Bennett declared the meeting adjourned to Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at 6:00 P.
