MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Chastain/De La Rosa to terminate the Public Hearing, motion carried unanimous vote. MOTION: Discussion by members and staff followed. Motion/second by CM Chastain/Ramos to approve Waive Full Reading and Pass First Reading of ORDINANCE NO. 0-20-01 with correction to the title. Motion carried unanimous vote. BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: Paving project, Fire Dept. Pass Park, Luque Center, C Street Potholes, Colton High School Appointment for District 4, Parks and Recreation Commission, will be returned to October 16, 2001 Council meeting. AGENDA REVIEW: City Manager Daryl Parrish presented for approval Consent Calendar Items Nos. 5 through 17, and requested that the City Council add to the Agenda an urgency item, under the provisions of Government Code Section 54954.2 (b)(2) to consider request from Region Water Quality Control Board, a consultant that is doing drilling and well testing on Slover Avenue be closed between midnight Friday, October 18, 2001 through Sunday, October 28, 2001, as item 17A. MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Ramos/Zamora to add urgency Item 17A to the consent calendar.
