MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Chastain/De La Rosa to terminate the Public <br />Hearing, motion carried unanimous vote. <br />MOTION: Discussion by members and staff followed. Motion/second by CM <br />Chastain/Ramos to approve Waive Full Reading and Pass First Reading of <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-20-01 with correction to the title. Motion carried unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the City Council: Alfred Parker, Patrick Maule, Jimmy <br />Babacos, William Yahn, Charles Jackson, Marco Tovar, Apolinar Espudo, Joe Perez, <br />and Gwen Brown. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Member Comments: <br />The following topics were addressed by the Members <br />the Boot, Candlelight Ceremony, Cesar Chavez <br />underpass landscaping, Bicycle Safety Program, <br />Fundraiser. <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: <br />Paving project, Fire Dept. Pass <br />Park, Luque Center, C Street <br />Potholes, Colton High School <br />Appointment for District 4, Parks and Recreation Commission, will be returned to <br />October 16, 2001 Council meeting. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish presented for approval Consent Calendar Items Nos. 5 <br />through 17, and requested that the City Council add to the Agenda an urgency item, <br />under the provisions of Government Code Section 54954.2 (b)(2) to consider request <br />from Region Water Quality Control Board, a consultant that is doing drilling and well <br />testing on Slover Avenue be closed between midnight Friday, October 18, 2001 through <br />Sunday, October 28, 2001, as item 17A. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Ramos/Zamora to add urgency Item 17A to the <br />consent calendar. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion/second by CM Chastain/De La Rosa to approve Consent <br />Calendar Items Nos. 5 through 17A carried upon unanimous vote. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />(5) Minutes - Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting held September 18, 2001, <br />?. on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />CC Meeting October 2, 2001 3 <br />
