PUBLIC HEARING: <br />File Index Number DZGCV-111-00 (Richard Horn) <br />This was the time and place fixed to consider an amendment to the General Plan, a zone change, <br />and an environmental assessment for File Index Number DZGCV-111-00 (Richard Horn), a <br />3.84+ acre, four parcel configuration, located at the South Eastern terminus of Harbor Drive, <br />East of Colton Avenue. <br />Mayor Bennett declared the Public Hearing "open." <br />City Clerk Barrera said the affidavit of publication calling the Public Hearing was on file in the <br />City Clerk's Office and stated she did not receive any protests or objections. <br />Director Zamora summarized the agenda report dated March 7, 2001 and presented Staff's <br />recommendation. <br />MOTION/VOTE: It was noted that there were no requests for comments. Motion/second by <br />CM Sanders/Ramos to terminate the Public Hearing. Motion carried upon unanimous vote. <br />Following discussion, motion/second by CM Chastain/DeLaRosa to waive first reading and pass <br />first reading of ORDINANCE NO. 0-04-01, approving a change of zone from R-1 (single family <br />residential) and C-2 (General Commercial) to I -P (Industrial Park) for certain property located in <br />the City of Colton, and to approve and adopt RESOLUTION NO. R-21-01, approving a general <br />plan amendment to amend the land use designation of certain property in the City of Colton. <br />Motion carried upon unanimous vote. <br />Weed Abatement <br />This is the time and place fixed to consider the City's Weed Abatement Program. <br />Mayor Bennett declared the Public Hearing "open." <br />City Clerk Barrera said the affidavit of publication calling the Public Hearing was on file in the <br />City Clerk's Office and stated she did not receive any protests or objections. <br />Fire Marshal Sork summarized the agenda report dated March 8, 2001 and recommended <br />approval. Discussion followed on lists of vacant lots and Fire Marshal Sork responded: <br />MOTION/VOTE: It was noted that there were no requests for comments.
