PUBLIC HEARING: File Index Number DZGCV-111-00 (Richard Horn) This was the time and place fixed to consider an amendment to the General Plan, a zone change, and an environmental assessment for File Index Number DZGCV-111-00 (Richard Horn), a 3.84+ acre, four parcel configuration, located at the South Eastern terminus of Harbor Drive, East of Colton Avenue. Mayor Bennett declared the Public Hearing "open." City Clerk Barrera said the affidavit of publication calling the Public Hearing was on file in the City Clerk's Office and stated she did not receive any protests or objections. Director Zamora summarized the agenda report dated March 7, 2001 and presented Staff's recommendation. MOTION/VOTE: It was noted that there were no requests for comments. Motion/second by CM Sanders/Ramos to terminate the Public Hearing. Motion carried upon unanimous vote. Following discussion, motion/second by CM Chastain/DeLaRosa to waive first reading and pass first reading of ORDINANCE NO. 0-04-01, approving a change of zone from R-1 (single family residential) and C-2 (General Commercial) to I -P (Industrial Park) for certain property located in the City of Colton, and to approve and adopt RESOLUTION NO. R-21-01, approving a general plan amendment to amend the land use designation of certain property in the City of Colton. Motion carried upon unanimous vote. Weed Abatement This is the time and place fixed to consider the City's Weed Abatement Program. Mayor Bennett declared the Public Hearing "open." City Clerk Barrera said the affidavit of publication calling the Public Hearing was on file in the City Clerk's Office and stated she did not receive any protests or objections. Fire Marshal Sork summarized the agenda report dated March 8, 2001 and recommended approval. Discussion followed on lists of vacant lots and Fire Marshal Sork responded: MOTION/VOTE: It was noted that there were no requests for comments.
