CUA 2001-1. Unanimous vote. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the City Council: Jean Ferrante, Marco Tovar, Jimmy Babacos, and Charles Jackson. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Mayor Bennett expressed condolences to the family of Whitney Rogers who was involved in the fatal pedestrian/auto collision on Friday, November 9, 2001. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: League of California Cities Leadership Team Workshop - City Council/City Manager, January 16-18, 2001, at Lake Arrowhead (UCLA Conference Center) City Manager Parrish informed the Council that staff was in the process of researching for a possible in-house workshop with a target date for the early part of 2002. The subject matter would be similar to what the League of California Cities will be presenting at Lake Arrowhead and if Council was in agreement there would be no need to any member to attend.
