(14) Award of Contract — Awarded contract to Motorola Communications and Electronics <br />Inc., Western Division for the purchase of radio equipment and accessories for the <br />Police Department in the amount of $27,390.79. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />PARKS RECREATION AND FAMILY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Contract with Sierra Baptist Church as Site Location for State of California Grant Funded <br />Preschool Program. <br />Parks, Recreation and Family Services Director Ron Kenny summarized the agenda report and <br />recommended that the Council consider and approve staff's recommendation. Director Kenny <br />introduced Mr. Hug Margeson, Child Care Manager, who was available to answer questions. <br />Discussion followed by the members with responses from staff. <br />Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Ramos to approve staff's recommendation.
