(14) Award of Contract — Awarded contract to Motorola Communications and Electronics Inc., Western Division for the purchase of radio equipment and accessories for the Police Department in the amount of $27,390.79. STAFF REPORTS: PARKS RECREATION AND FAMILY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Contract with Sierra Baptist Church as Site Location for State of California Grant Funded Preschool Program. Parks, Recreation and Family Services Director Ron Kenny summarized the agenda report and recommended that the Council consider and approve staff's recommendation. Director Kenny introduced Mr. Hug Margeson, Child Care Manager, who was available to answer questions. Discussion followed by the members with responses from staff. Motion/second by CM De La Rosa/Ramos to approve staff's recommendation. Unanimous vote.
