Motion/second by CM Chastain/Zamora to approve the Ken Hubbs Memorial Little League <br />Anniversay activities and waive the city's daily sales permit for vendors without the inclusion of <br />a "Beer Garden". Motion carried with CM De La Rosa absent. <br />POLICE CHIEF'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Faith and Justice Summit. <br />Sgt. Coe presented an oral report giving an overview of the goal of the annual event and invited <br />council leaders as well as other interested citizens to attend the Second Annual Faith and <br />Justice Summit. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />City Manager Parrish responded to comments made earlier under Public Comment regarding <br />the Olive Street, Grant School automobile traffic and the threats of recalls and past political <br />corruption. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss <br />the following items: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Initiation of Litigation Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 <br />Number of Potential Cases: 1 <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) <br />David Parke, et al v. City of Colton <br />Case Number: SCVSS 082534 <br />At 7:47 p.m., Mayor Bennett adjourned the meeting to Closed Session and at 8:30 p.m., the <br />meeting reconvened. <br />City Attorney Derleth announced that the Council did meet in Closed Session and discussed the <br />items previously announced: <br />A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />ACTION: No Reportable Action. <br />B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION <br />David Parke, et al v.
