CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />May 1, 2002 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, a Special Meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Colton was held on the above -given date at 5:52 p.m., Chamber of Commerce <br />Conference Room, 620 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were Zamora, Mitchell, Ramos, Chastain, De La Rosa, Hernandez, <br />and Mayor Bennett. <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 1, <br />2002 <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. <br />72 - •1-.111 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />None. <br />AGENDA ITEMS: <br />Discuss City Marketing Issues/Design of the City Seal <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish presented for discussion, various City marketing issues, including <br />the use and design of the City seal. Direction was given for staff to prepare several examples of <br />distinct business cards that included important department telephone numbers, and form a <br />committee for a flag design. <br />Discuss Policies for Board Appointments of Elected Officials <br />Council discussed the policies for the appointment of elected officials to various boards and <br />positions. <br />ADJOURNMENT. <br />At 7:30 p.m., with consensus of Council, Mayor Bennett declared the Special Meeting <br />adjourned. <br />Olivia R.
