CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JOINED WITH UTILITIES COMMISSION <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />May 20, 2003 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton <br />was held on the above -given date at 4:11 p.m., with Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />Councilmembers present were Zamora, Mitchell, Ramos, Chastain, De La Rosa, Hernandez and Mayor <br />Bennett. <br />UTILITIFS COMMISSION ROLL CALL <br />Utility Commissioners present were Wright, Bryant, Cordova and Chairperson Jackson. Absent <br />commissioners were Lord, Morua and Archuleta. <br />Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or discussion on the following matters: <br />W;;—,tewater Fund and the Rate Structure Requirements <br />Water/Wastewater Director Eric Fraser announced that he had received three checks from Regional Quality <br />Control board totaling $24,000.00 secured by aggressive action in working with the board in getting funding for <br />perchlorate treatment. He continued with a PowerPoint presentation regarding the status of the Wastewater <br />Fund and the rate structure requirements in accordance with the conditions of the State Revolving Fund Loan. <br />Discussion and questions by Council and Commissioners were presented to staff and Director Fraser, City <br />Manager Parrish, and City Treasurer Williams provided appropriate responses. <br />The following citizens addressed the Council and Commissioners: Lorraine June and Joe Perez <br />At 5:41 p.m., with consensus of Council and Utilities Commission, Mayor Bennett declared the Special <br />Meeting adjourned. <br />Olivia R.
