1. <br />2 <br />'3 <br />4' <br />51 <br />6 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1600 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON ESTABLISHING <br />A MORITORIUM PROHIBITING CERTAIN INDUSTRIAL USES <br />IN AN AREA OF THE CITY PENDING STUDY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Resolution No.4105 <br />to initiate amendments to the general plan and zoning ordinance, <br />and <br />7 '� WHEREAS, presently studies are in progress by the Council, <br />I <br />8 !i the Planning Commission and other branches of City government <br />9 including amendments of the general plan and the zoning ordinance <br />10 ! of the City, and <br />11 I'I WHEREAS, the uses hereinafter referred to in the area <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />hereinafter described may be in conflict with such contemplated <br />zoning amendment proposal and other matters being studied, and <br />WHEREAS, notice of hearing was duly given and a public <br />hearing was duly conducted as required, and <br />WHEREAS, the adoption of this ordinance will protect <br />the public safety, health and welfare. <br />ordains: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 65858 any uses which <br />may be in conflict with the contemplated zoning proposal of <br />Resolution No.4105 are prohibited and new industrial uses and <br />expansion of existing industrial uses in the area described therein <br />and below are prohibited. <br />Said prohibition shall continue until the study of said <br />area is completed and implemented. <br />Said area is that portion of the City of Colton described <br />as follows: <br />
