<br />of general circulation, printed and published in
<br />the City of Colton, State of California, County of
<br />Son Bernardino, and which newspaper is published
<br />for the dissemination of local news and intelli-
<br />gence of a general character, and which newspaper
<br />at all the times herein mentioned had and still
<br />hos a bona fide subscription list of paying sub-
<br />scribers, and which newspaper has been estab-
<br />lished, printed and published at regular intervc'-,
<br />in the said City of Colton, State of California,
<br />County of San Bernardino, for a period exceeding
<br />one year next preceding the date of publication of
<br />the notice hereinafter referred to; and which news-
<br />paper is not devoted to nor published for the in-
<br />terests, entertainment or instruction of a particular
<br />class, profession, trade, calling, race, or denomin-
<br />ation, or any number of some; that the notice, of
<br />which the annexed is a printed copy, has been

<br />AN ORDINa' F': HE CITY
<br />OF COLTON AMENDING
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1602, AS
<br />AMENDED, AND PROVIDING
<br />FOR CERTAI N ZONE
<br />RECLASSIFICATIONS
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION ONE: The City
<br />Council finds and declares:
<br />1. That a public hearing has
<br />peen duly and legally held by the
<br />Planning Commission of the City
<br />of Colton on one Zone District
<br />Amendment application to
<br />amend Section 18.12 of Or-
<br />dinance No. 1602, as amended.
<br />2. That said Planning Commis-
<br />sion has recommended the adop-
<br />tion of the proposed amendment
<br />and the zone reclassification of
<br />certain parcels of land in ac-
<br />cordance with and pursuant to
<br />said application.
<br />3. That said parcel is
<br />delineatedand the recommend-
<br />ed action appropriately shown
<br />and for convenience is referenc-
<br />ed indexed on the maps on file in
<br />the City Clerk's office numbered
<br />as follows:
<br />Map No. 27
<br />Change of Zone from Rialto
<br />zoning, M-2 to Heavy Manufac-
<br />turing, M-2, Colton zoning, on
<br />property commonly known as
<br />Assessor's Parcel Nos.
<br />260-061-14 and 15, on Agua Man-
<br />sa Road, Index No. A-3-82.
<br />4. That a public hearing has
<br />been duly and legally held by the
<br />City Council on the aforesaid
<br />recommendation of the Planning
<br />Commission.
<br />SECTION TWO: The zone
<br />reclassification herein above
<br />referred to is hereby appro,,ed
<br />and the Planning Director is
<br />hereby directed to amend the Of-
<br />ficial Zoning Maps of the City of
<br />Colton adopted by Ordinance No.
<br />1420 in accordance herewith to
<br />show said approval and certify to
<br />the same.
<br />SECTION THREE: Effective
<br />Date. This ordinance shall be in
<br />force and effective thirty (30)
<br />days after final passage.
<br />SECTION FOUR: The City
<br />Clerk shall certify to the passage
<br />of this ordinance and shall cause
<br />the same to be published once in
<br />the Colton Courier, a weekly
<br />newspaper, hereby designated
<br />for the purpose.
<br />PASSED APPROVED and
<br />ADOPTED this 20th day of April,
<br />1982.
