Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1009, Section 1 of Ordinance <br />No. 1408 and Section 6.16.200 of the Municipal Code are amended <br />to read as follows: <br />6_16.200 Collection --Permit, Franchise Fee and License and <br />Bond. Every agent or independent contractor authorized to <br />collect, remove and dispose of refuse, in addition to any other <br />terms or conditions to be performed, before commencing such busi- <br />ness shall be obliged to obtain a permit from the City Engineer <br />and pay a permit fee to be determined by resolution approved by <br />City Council, and shall pay a franchise fee in an amount and in <br />a manner to be determined by resolution approved by the City <br />Council, and shall obtain a license from the City Manager for <br />which a fee to be determined by resolution approved by the City <br />Council shall be paid, and shall file a surety bond or cash bond <br />in a sum to be determined by resolution approved by the City <br />Council conditioned upon compliance with the terms, conditions <br />and limitations of this chapter. <br />2. Section 10 of Ordinance No. 1009 and Subsection A. of <br />Section 6.16.220 of the Municipal Code are amended to read as <br />follows: <br />6.16.220 Collection --Frequency.
