<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE
<br />CITY OF COLTON
<br />AMENDING SECTIO i 5
<br />OF ORDINANCE NO. 1579,
<br />AND SECTION 15.04.050 OF
<br />THE COLTON MUNICIPAL
<br />CODE RELATING TO
<br />BUILDING PERMITS.
<br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF
<br />THE CITY OF COLTON
<br />ORDAINS that Section 5 of
<br />Ordinance No. 1579, and Section
<br />15.04.050 of the Colton Municipal
<br />Code, is amended to read as
<br />follows:
<br />15.04.050 Building Permits —
<br />Improvements and Dedications
<br />— Bond. Every Building
<br />Permit, save and except
<br />building permits issued for
<br />fences or walls or swimming
<br />pools, issued to any applicant
<br />for an enclosed structure,
<br />remodeling or addition of four
<br />hundred square feet or more,
<br />shall include:
<br />A. Installation of all off-site
<br />improvements, including curbs,
<br />gutters, sidewalks, street trees,
<br />street lights, paving of streets
<br />and alleys, as may be requried
<br />and connection to utilities, in
<br />accordance with city standards
<br />and specifications in and on all
<br />street frontages of the lot or lots
<br />to be used in conjunction with
<br />the building to be constructed or
<br />improved; or
<br />B. Enter into an improvement
<br />agreement with the City
<br />agreeing tc .,,Mp!ete the
<br />improvements as set forth in
<br />subsection A on a date certain
<br />as may be agreed upon by the
<br />City, and further agreeing to
<br />hold the city, its agents, officers
<br />and employees free and
<br />harmless from all claims of any
<br />nature whatsoever arising in
<br />any way out of applicant's use
<br />and occupant' or the condition
<br />of the property, and further
<br />agreeing to furnish the City a
<br />Performance and completiop "
<br />bond or cash bond or other
<br />acceptable security in an
<br />amount ano form aeemeo
<br />adequate by the City Engineer,
<br />securing the performance of the
<br />contract. The agreement Shall
<br />be in the form approved by the
<br />City Attorney.
<br />C. In all cases, deed or cause
<br />to be deeded all rights-of-way
<br />and easements in accordance
<br />with any street plan, specific
<br />plan or general plan of the City
<br />or as may be required by the
<br />C1ty council.
