<br />has a bona fide subscription list of paying sub-

<br />in the said City of Colton, State of California,
<br />County of San Bernardino, for a period exceeding
<br />one year next preceding the date of publication of
<br />the notice hereinafter referred to; and which news-
<br />paper is not devoted to nor published for the in-
<br />terests, entertainment or instruction of a particular
<br />class, profession, trade, calling, race, or denomin-
<br />ation, or any number of sarne; that the noiice, OS

<br />CITY OF COLTON AMEN-
<br />DING ORDINANCE NO.
<br />1602, AS AMENDED, AND
<br />PROVIDING FOR CER-
<br />T A I N Z O N E
<br />RECLASSIFICATIONS.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
<br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF COLTON AS FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION ONE: The City
<br />Council finds and declares:
<br />I. That a public hearing has
<br />been duly and legally held by
<br />the Planning Commission of the
<br />City of Colton on one Zone
<br />District Amendment application
<br />to amend Section 18.12 of Or-
<br />dinance No. 1602, as amended.
<br />2. That said parcel is
<br />delineated and the recommend-
<br />ed action appropriately shown
<br />and for convenience is referenc.
<br />ed indexed on the maps on file
<br />in the City Clerk's office
<br />numbered as follows:
<br />Map No. 31
<br />Change of Zone from R-1 to
<br />R-3 on property located on the
<br />southwest corner of Reche Ca-
<br />nyon and Barton Roads (Index
<br />No. A-4-83)
<br />3: That a public hearing has
<br />been duly and legally held by
<br />the City Council.
<br />SECTION TWO: The zone
<br />reclassification herein above
<br />referred to is hereby approved
<br />and the Planning Director is
<br />hereby directed to amend the
<br />Official Zoning Maps of the City
<br />of Colton adopted by Ordinance
<br />No. 1420 in accordance herewith
<br />to show said approval and cer-
<br />tify to the same.
<br />SECTION THREE: Effective
<br />Date. This ordinance shall be in
<br />force and effective thirty (3o)
<br />days after final passage.
<br />SECTION FOUR: The City
<br />Clerk shall certify to the
<br />passage of this ordinance and
<br />shall cause the same to be
<br />Published once in the Colton
<br />Courier, a weekly newspaper,
<br />hereby designated for the pur-
<br />pose.
<br />PASSED, APPROVED AND
<br />ADOPTED this 6Th day of
