ORDINANCE NO. 1653 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. <br />1122 AND SECTION 2.48.080 OF THE COLTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE REVISING PROBATIONARY <br />PERIOD. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1122, and Paragraph A of <br />Section 2.48.080 of the Colton Municipal Code, are amended to <br />read as follows: <br />2.48.080 Probationary Period -Demotion -Dismissal. <br />A. All regular and promotional appointments shall be <br />tentative and subject to a probationary period of <br />eighteen months for police officers, one year for <br />firefighters and department heads, and six months <br />for other employees. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1St day of November, <br />1983• <br />R A.
