1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />125% of the estimated cost thereof, as estimated by the City, or in lieu <br />thereof, a cash bond of the same amount, and said costs may include in <br />addition to other work that may be required, the cost of termite control, <br />and the construction of curbs, gutter sidewalks when deemed advisable by <br />the City, and as a further condition precedent to the granting of any such <br />permit for any oversized load, the applicant shall furnish the City a cash <br />bond or public liability and property insurance policy issued by a standard <br />assurance company licensed by the State of California in such amount as the <br />Superintendent of Streets deems advisable or in lieu therof to furnish such <br />evidence as may be satisfactory to the Superintendent of Streets that any <br />such applicant has and will have at all times during the time the permit <br />shall be in effect such a policy fully insuring the City of Colton from <br />any and all liability of an nature whatsoever, and to hold the City- of <br />Colton free and harmless for any property or personal damage or injury caused <br />directly or indirectly by any such moving. <br />SECTION THREE. That Ordinance #1002 is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION FOUR: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br />ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Colton <br />Courier, a daily newspaper hereby designated for that purpose. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of August, 1984. <br />ER A . 141lJNT00N <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />HELEN A.
